A Lotion bar is like a solid body butter with the same ingredients but without the jar . You are going to make it quiet solid put it in the fridge to set and you can use by rubbing it straight on your skin after a bath or shower.
A Lotion bar may look like soap , but it's actually a solid hydrating bar. When rubbed on the skin, the heat from your body starts to gradually melt the product, resulting in a moisturizing layer which helps to soften and soothe dry skin.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup of Shea butter
1 cup of coconut oil
1 cup of beeswax ( some people use beeswax while some don't, but I used beeswax for this recipe. It's optional).
10 drops coconut fragrance oil
Silicone moulds
Combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl except the fragrance oil. Place this bowl over a small saucepan with around an inch of water in it. Bring the water to the boil and melt the ingredients.
Remove from heat and add your fragrance , stir the mixture thoroughly, pour the mixture into the moulds and leaves to cool and put it in the fridge to set and harden. Once they have hardened you can remove from the moulds.
