HOMEMADE NAPPY RASH CREAM

Nappy rash is a common problem and up to a third o babies or toddler can have it. There may be red patches on your baby's bottom or it could be red and sore, there may even be spots or blisters in severe cases.



However, if your little one suffers from sensitive skin you will probably want to protect it from irritation by applying cream on the bottom whenever you change it, using simple water to wash their bottom and gently dabbing the area with towel to dry, and allowing your little one to have some nappy free time to allow fresh air get into their skin.

Making your baby's nappy rash will give you knowledge of what exactly you are putting on their bottom especially when you use organic ingredients in making their nappy rash cream, you will be rest assured that skin will be nappy rash free, smooth and supple.

INGREDIENTS

60gram shea butter
60grams coconut oil
1tbsp beeswax
1tsp zinc oxide
10 drops lavender essential oil

PROCESS

Add, shea butter, coconut oil, and beeswax in a bowl and make a double boiler to melt it on a low heat.

When it's melted bring it down and whisk with your hand mixer for few minutes and add your zinc oxide powder in the mixture and whisk together. Place it in the fridge to set.

Bring it out when it's set and solid kind of add your essential oil and whisk till it's creamy and fluffy. Transfer into a clean jar and cover.
